Gareth Hughes Jones , Singing Gareth is an accomplished musician of considerable repute.
He conducted the acclaimed Cor Meibion Caernarfon (Caernarfon Male Choir) for many years, appearing with them at the 1988 National Gymanfa Ganu in Baltimore. A former producer for Sain Records and a school music teacher he is currently Administrator of the William Mathias College of Music. With only a few “misses,” Gareth has been a core staff member at WHW since 1989.

Rhod & Chris Jones, Folk Dance
Rhod and Chris Jones are directors of the award-winning folk dance group, Cwmni Dawns Werin Caerdydd, as well as being leaders in the Welsh Folk Dance Society. They are both educators and native Welsh speakers.

John Albert Evans, Language John Albert returns this year as a language teacher. He has been with WHW since 1988 and was
Language Director from 1990-2005. Retired after 20 years as Welsh Language Organizer for Mid-Glamorgan, he now freelances as a schools inspector and serves as the Welsh language officer for the Rhondda Cynon Taf County Council. In addition, he teaches the Welsh language to politicians and high-level civil servants.

Jenn Williams, Music Session Jenn has been involved with Welsh folk music since an early age, playing the fiddle with different
groups and organizations as well as busking and classical music. Jenn studied in the University of Wales, Bangor where she gained a music degree. She has played with the National Youth
Orchestra of Wales and the Bangor University Symphony Orchestra. After leaving University Jenn went on to study as a teacher. She presently teaches nursery, reception and year 1 children in
Ysgol Rowen, Conwy. Jenn has taught traditional Welsh folk music and dance in Sweden, France and America. She is a member of the Clerorfa, the Welsh folk orchestra. As well as playing in the folk scene, Jenn is 1 of 3 fiddlers who play with a rock/indie band called Yucatan. She
writes her own music and is often called upon to be a session musician.

Eirian Evans, Harp Eirian started playing the harp at the age of 9. During primary and secondary school years she played twice
at the Royal Albert Hall as a member of a Harp Quartet in the Schools' Proms. She toured areas of Germany twice with the County Orchestra. She was accepted a member of the National Youth Orchestra
of Wales and played with them for 5 years. For 3 of those years, she lead the harp section. Eirian has won solo harp competitions at both Urdd and National Eisteddfod and has been the official harp
accompanist on numerous occasions in the Urdd and National Eisteddfodau. Two years ago she was the official harpist at all the main ceremonies at the National Eisteddfod in Cardiff.
